Sunday Evening Advanced Silver Certificate Course
For those who have taken the Foundation Course in Genealogical Research
Course Description - Schedule - RegistrationThis course of six classes is a preparation for the silver certificate. The prerequisite for these classes is the Foundation Course in Genealogical Research. These classes are especially for volunteers who work at family history centers and members of the church who wish to improve their genealogical research skills beyond the Foundation Course in Genealogical Research or bronze certification level (upon completion of the Bronze Certification Booklet). Others who are interested in this course may also register. This course is ideal for those who wish to greatly improve their computer and genealogy skills to meet their personal genealogical/family history goals. A silver certificate will he awarded upon completion of these six classes and the Silver Certification Booklet.
The classes will start again in January and are offered by the Los Angeles Family History Training Center on Sunday evenings from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Los Angeles Family History Library or LAFHL. Pre-registration is required. There is a $10 pre-registration fee. If you wish to attend the Advanced Silver Certificate Course, please completely fill out and submit your information in the spaces below or register at the Sales Desk at the LAFHL.
You will receive an email within 2 weekdays confirming your registration. If you don't receive the email, stop into or email the LAFHL at lafamhist@lafhl.com with your SUBJECT "Advanced Silver Certificate".
