Course Description

This course of six classes is a certificate program for training Family History Consultants, volunteers who work at family history centers and members of the church who wish to improve their genealogical research skills. Others who are interested in this course may also register. This course is ideal for those who wish to develop their computer and genealogy skills to meet their personal genealogical/family history goals. A Bronze certificate will be awarded upon completion of the six classes.

Course Schedule
Course will start January 9, 2011

These classes are offered on Sunday evenings from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Los Angeles Family History Library. The class will start at 6:30 PM with a computer lab at 7:30 PM. Pre-registration is required. There is a $10 pre-registration fee. If a person cannot afford the $10 registration fee, it will be waved. The classes will continue in 2011. If a student misses a class
he/she may be able to make it up in the next round of classes.

If you don't receive the email, email the LAFHL at lafamhist@lafhl.org Your pre-registration will be finalized by paying the $10 fee by check after receiving the confirming email.
